When first signing up to Digital Pigeon, users can choose to create their account with an email address and password or a Social sign-on (Google mail, LinkedIn, Slack, Facebook and Apple). However sometimes after creating an account using a Social sign-on users wish to switch email and password. This article aims to guide users through the process.
1. Log into your Digital Pigeon account and navigate to the Profile menu found via "Manage > Profile"
2. Click the "Change Password" option to the right of the password field (this will result in the "Update Your Password" window appearing)
3. Enter your desired password and click "Save" this will cause the "Authentication Required" window to appear
4. Click "Continue" and a new Social sign-on window will appear where you will need to click "Allow"
This will complete the process to switch over to email and password from Social sign-on. It's important to note that the email address associated with your account will be the same email address that the Social sign-on account uses.
